Pangot

Pangot is a small Himalayan village and bird watchers paradise, located 15Kms away from Nainital, the famous lake city of Uttarakhand. More than 600 species of birds has discovered in its surrounding. Jim Corbett National Park completely opens for tourists from 15 Nov to 15 Jun every year. Dhikala, Bijrani, Jhirna, Durgadevi and Dhela are the main safari zones of Jim Corbett Park. One can get safari online permits and hire any authorise gypsy or canter to visit those zones.

By Train:

Kathgodam(KGM) and Ramnagar(RMR) are the nearest railway station of Pangot. Kathgodam is situated 50Kms and Ramnagar is 70kms far from Pangot. Both destinations distance are easily covered in one hour. Kathgodam and Ramnagar are well connected by railway network from the major cities of India.

By Road:

Pangot is well connected by road with major cities of India. Road conditions are excellent to reach this destination. Regular bus services from ISBT Delhi and ISBT Dehradun are organizing by Uttarakhand Pariwahan Nigam Ltd. up to Nainital. Pangot is only 15kms far from Nainital.
